What is IGAnony?
IGAnony is a free web tool for viewing public Instagram content anonymously. Type a username or paste a profile link into the box above and IGAnony loads the profile — picture, bio, follower and post counts, and the recent post grid — without you ever signing in to Instagram. From the same search you can switch to that account's stories, highlights, posts or reels.
Because IGAnony works entirely in your browser with no Instagram account attached, there is nothing to link the visit back to you. You don't appear in anyone's story viewers list, you don't show up as a profile visit, and Instagram's recommendation engine never learns what you looked at. That's the whole point: browse the way a logged-out visitor would, without the app getting in the way.
IGAnony only shows what an account has already made public. Private accounts stay private — IGAnony will tell you an account is private rather than pretend it can get inside. There's no sign-up, no subscription and no app to download; every tool on the site is free to use as often as you like.

Is IGAnony safe and really anonymous?
Yes. Anonymity on IGAnony isn't a trick — it's a consequence of how the site is built. IGAnony never asks you to log in to Instagram, never stores your Instagram credentials, and never acts on your behalf. It only requests pages that Instagram already serves to anyone who isn't logged in, which is exactly why Instagram can't attribute those requests to you.
That design also sets the limits. IGAnony can't show you a private account's stories or posts, can't reveal who viewed a story, and can't show anything Instagram hides from logged-out visitors. Any site that claims it can do those things anonymously is either lying or asking for your password — neither of which happens here.
On the privacy side, IGAnony doesn't keep a history of the usernames you search on its servers. Recent searches are remembered only in your own browser for convenience, and you can clear them at any time from the search box.
Using IGAnony on your device
iPhone
Open IGAnony in Safari or Chrome. Downloads go to the Files app or straight to Photos, depending on your iOS version — tap the download button on any photo or video and choose where to save it.
Android
IGAnony works in Chrome, Samsung Internet and any other Android browser. Downloaded media lands in your Downloads or Gallery folder. You can add IGAnony to your home screen from the browser menu for quick access.
Desktop
Use IGAnony in any desktop browser. Downloads save to your default downloads folder, and you can right-click any image to copy or save it directly.

Is IGAnony free?
Yes. Every IGAnony tool — the profile viewer, story viewer, highlights viewer and all the downloaders — is free to use with no account, subscription or usage cap for normal browsing.
Do I need an Instagram account to use IGAnony?
No. IGAnony doesn't ask you to log in and never needs your Instagram username or password. That's what keeps it anonymous.
Can the account see that I looked at them on IGAnony?
No. Because there is no Instagram account attached to your visit, you don't appear in their story viewers list, profile insights or anywhere else. Instagram has no way to tell who made the request.
Does IGAnony work on private accounts?
No, and neither does any other anonymous viewer. Private accounts only share content with approved followers, and IGAnony respects that. If you search a private account, IGAnony tells you it's private instead of showing anything.
Is there an IGAnony app?
IGAnony is a website, not an app, and there is no official IGAnony app on the App Store or Google Play. Anything you find in an app store using the IGAnony name isn't from us. On a phone, you can add this page to your home screen for an app-like shortcut.
What can I view with IGAnony?
Public profiles (picture, bio, stats and post grid), stories from the last 24 hours, story highlights, posts including carousels, and reels. Photos and videos can also be downloaded in original quality.
Why does IGAnony say "no stories" for an account?
Stories expire after 24 hours. If an account hasn't posted one in that window, there is nothing to show. Try the Highlights tab, which holds the stories the account chose to keep permanently.
Does IGAnony store the usernames I search?
Not on our servers. The Recent list under the search box is saved only in your own browser so you can re-run a search quickly, and you can clear it at any time.
Is IGAnony legal to use?
IGAnony only accesses content that Instagram already serves publicly to logged-out visitors, which is the same as opening a profile in a private browser window. Downloading media for personal use is fine; reposting someone else's content without permission is not, and IGAnony isn't affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
Why is IGAnony sometimes slow or unavailable?
IGAnony fetches data live from Instagram, and Instagram occasionally rate-limits or changes how its public pages are served. If a lookup fails, wait a moment and try again — it usually resolves itself quickly.
