What is the Profile Viewer?
The Profile Viewer pulls up a public account's bio text, profile picture, follower and following counts, post count, and a grid of their recent posts — everything you'd see landing on their profile page, without opening Instagram or creating an account. Enter a username or paste a profile link, and it loads in a clean layout built for browsing rather than scrolling a feed.
It's a common first stop before deciding whether to follow an account, verify a business's presence, or just get a sense of how active a profile is. Rather than opening the Instagram app and having that visit tied to your own account, everything loads directly in your browser instead.
It only works on public profiles. A private account's bio and post grid stay hidden unless you already follow them from an actual Instagram account — the Profile Viewer respects that the same way any logged-out visitor to Instagram would.
How to view an Instagram profile

What you can and can't see here
The Profile Viewer shows what a profile has made public: bio, stats, profile picture, and recent posts. It doesn't show anything Instagram itself hides from logged-out visitors, such as a full followers or following list, direct messages, or content from a private account.
If an account has protected their profile, the Profile Viewer will tell you it's private rather than pretend to load something it can't reach. That's a deliberate limit, not a bug — no anonymous viewer, from IGAnony or anyone else, has a legitimate way to see inside a private Instagram account.
Some fields that appear inside the app when you're logged in and following someone — like story highlights previews layered over the profile picture, or mutual-follower suggestions — aren't part of the public page itself, so they won't appear here either. What loads is exactly what Instagram's own public profile page serves.

There's no single download for a whole profile, but you can save the profile picture or an individual post from the grid — tap its download button and Safari or Chrome routes it to Photos.
Android
Individual images you download from the profile or post grid save to your Downloads or Gallery folder, depending on your browser.
Desktop
Use your browser's screenshot tool for the bio and stats layout, or click download on a specific post image to save it to your downloads folder.
Profile viewer FAQ
Can I see an account's full followers or following list?
No. Instagram doesn't expose the full list of followers or accounts followed to logged-out visitors, so the Profile Viewer only shows the counts, the same numbers you'd see on the profile itself.
Does the Profile Viewer show pinned posts?
It displays the post grid in the order Instagram serves it publicly, which includes any posts the account has pinned to the top of their profile.
Can I check a business account's contact details?
If a business or creator account has added a public contact button or email to their bio, that information appears the same way it does in the app. Details not shown publicly on the profile aren't available here either.
Why do follower counts look slightly different from the app?
Instagram's counts update continuously and can round or lag by a small margin depending on when a page was cached. A brief difference of a few followers is normal and not a sign of an error.
Can I view a deactivated or disabled account?
No. If an account is deactivated, deleted, or suspended, there's nothing public left for the Profile Viewer to fetch, and it will show a not-found result instead.
Does it show verified badges?
Yes. If a profile has a verified badge next to its name, that badge displays alongside the account name the same way it would in the Instagram app.
Is this useful for checking an account before following it?
Yes, that's one of the more common uses — see the bio, stats and recent posts first, without your own account showing up in their audience data as a profile visit.
Does the post grid show captions?
The grid itself shows thumbnails, matching how the profile page displays them. Captions aren't pulled into the grid view since Instagram doesn't expose them at that level either.
Can I look up several profiles in a row?
Yes, there's no limit for normal use. Search a username, review the results, then clear the field and search the next one — each search is independent.
Does the Profile Viewer work for hashtag or location pages?
No, it's built specifically for account profiles. Hashtag pages and location pages aren't supported since they don't have the bio and stats structure this tool is designed around.
