What is the Carousel Downloader?

How to download an Instagram carousel

This tool is specifically for posts with the small stacked-squares icon, meaning there's more than one item behind it.
If you paste a link and it turns out to only have one slide, the tool still downloads it fine — the batch feature just doesn't have anything extra to add in that case. The main advantage of this page shows up on posts with several slides, where downloading everything in one action beats saving each one individually.
As with every IGAnony tool, this only reaches public accounts. A carousel from a private account is visible only to its approved followers, and no downloader changes that.
Saving the downloaded files on your device

Tapping download-all queues each file through Safari or Chrome's downloads; photos typically land in your Photos app and videos in the Files app, depending on how your browser handles multiple downloads.

Downloading the full set saves each photo and video into your device's Downloads folder or Gallery one after another — check your browser's download notifications to see each file land.

Yes. Each photo and video in the carousel downloads as its own individual file — a photo as JPG, a video as MP4 — rather than being merged into one combined file.
How do I know if a post is actually a carousel?
Look for the small stacked-squares icon in the corner of the post's thumbnail on Instagram, or check the slide counter that appears once the Carousel Downloader loads it.
Can a carousel mix photos and videos?

What happens if I paste a link to a single-photo post here?
