What is the Highlights Viewer?
Highlights are stories an account has chosen to keep on their profile permanently, organized into named albums instead of disappearing after 24 hours. The Highlights Viewer lists every album a public profile has, lets you open one, and step through its contents the same way you'd tap through it in the Instagram app — with a download button on each item.
Accounts use highlights for all kinds of things: travel logs, product catalogs, a running FAQ, old milestones they don't want to lose. Because each album groups related stories together, the Highlights Viewer effectively gives you a browsable archive of a profile's past content, not just a snapshot of what's active right now.
It works on public accounts only. If an account is private, its highlight albums stay hidden here just as they would to any logged-out visitor browsing Instagram directly — there's no way around that, through IGAnony or any other tool.
How to view Instagram highlights

Enter the username
Type the Instagram username whose highlights you want to check, into the search box on this page.

Every highlight album on that profile appears with its cover image and name. Tap the one you want to open.

Each photo or video inside a highlight has its own download option, saved at the resolution it was originally posted in.
No 24-hour window to beat
Unlike regular stories, highlights don't expire, so there's no rush — an album is available whenever the profile keeps it up.
Highlights vs. the Story Viewer: what's the difference?
A story is only visible for 24 hours after it's posted, unless the account owner saves it into a highlight before that window closes. Once it's saved, that content moves into a named album on the profile and stays there indefinitely — that's what this tool is built around.
If you're trying to catch something that was posted very recently and might still be an active story, use IGAnony's Story Viewer instead — it only shows what's currently live. Come back to the Highlights Viewer for anything the account has already chosen to keep long-term, or if the story you wanted is no longer active and might have been saved.
A quick way to tell which tool you need: if you're watching something race against a countdown, that's a story. If you're browsing a labeled album that's clearly been sitting on the profile for a while, that's a highlight, and this page is where you'll find the download option for it.
Saving highlight downloads
iPhone
Tap download on an item inside a highlight; Safari or Chrome will hand the file to your Photos app for images or Files app for video, depending on your download settings.
Android
Downloaded highlight photos and videos go straight into your Downloads or Gallery folder — most Android browsers place images directly in the gallery.
Desktop
Downloads land in your browser's default downloads folder, the same as saving any file from a website.

How many highlight albums can I open at once?
All of a profile's albums load together in the initial list; you open and view them one at a time from there. There's no limit on how many you can look through in a session.
Can I download a whole album in one action?
Downloads happen one item at a time — each photo or video inside an album has its own download button. For a large album, that means going through it entry by entry.
Why does an account show highlight covers but nothing loads?
This usually means the album's content has become temporarily unavailable on Instagram's side, or the account edited it recently. Try again after a short wait, or check another album.
Do highlights ever expire the way stories do?
No. Once a story is saved into a highlight, it stays on the profile until the account owner removes it or deletes the whole album — there's no automatic 24-hour cutoff.
What if an account has no highlight albums at all?
Then nothing will appear on this tab — plenty of accounts never save stories into highlights. Check the Story Viewer instead if you're looking for something posted recently.
Can I download just the album's cover image?
The Highlights Viewer focuses on the story content inside each album rather than the cover icon itself, since the cover is usually a cropped thumbnail rather than a full photo or video.
Are older highlight albums still viewable, even from years ago?
Yes, as long as the account hasn't deleted or archived them. Highlights don't have a built-in age limit — an album from years back loads the same way as one made yesterday.
Does opening a highlight album register as a story view?
No. IGAnony loads highlight content the way a logged-out visitor to a public profile page would, so it doesn't create a viewer-list entry the way watching inside the Instagram app can.
Can I search by album name instead of username?
Search is by username or profile link first; once that profile's albums load, you pick the one you want by its name and cover, not by searching for the album directly.
Can I download highlights from a business account's product catalog?
Yes, as long as the business account is public. Product-catalog highlights work exactly like any other album — open it and download each item individually.
