Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE — fill in at launch]

IGAnony ("IGAnony," "we," "us") is operated by [Legal Entity Name], registered in [Jurisdiction]. This policy explains what data IGAnony collects when you use iganony.cc, and — just as importantly — what it deliberately does not collect.

What IGAnony collects

IGAnony's server infrastructure processes the username or link you search in order to fetch the corresponding public Instagram content and return it to your browser. That request is handled in memory to serve your result and is not retained in a database or log tied to your identity.

Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log basic technical data for every request — IP address, browser type, timestamps — for security and abuse-prevention purposes. This is standard infrastructure logging, not a record of what you searched.

What IGAnony does not collect

We do not require or offer account creation, so there is no username, email or password of yours stored anywhere. We do not ask for your Instagram credentials, and IGAnony never logs into Instagram on your behalf. We do not build a history of your searches on our servers — your "recent searches" list lives entirely in your own browser's local storage and is never transmitted to us.

Cookies and local storage

IGAnony uses local storage (not cookies, for most of this) to remember two things on your own device: your recent searches list, and your cookie-consent choice. Neither is sent to our servers. If analytics or advertising are enabled on the site (see below), those third parties may set their own cookies once you've given consent.

Third-party services

At present, IGAnony does not run any advertising or analytics scripts. If that changes, this section will list the specific vendor(s) [Ad Network / Analytics Provider — TBD], the data they collect, and how to opt out, and the consent banner on the site will gate those scripts until you accept.

Data from Instagram

The profile data IGAnony displays (bios, stats, public posts, stories, highlights) comes directly from Instagram's own publicly accessible pages at the moment you search — the same information anyone could see by visiting that profile while logged out. IGAnony does not store copies of that content after your session ends.

Your rights

If you believe IGAnony has processed your personal data in a way you'd like addressed — including requesting that your public profile not be fetched through IGAnony — see our Remove Profile page, or contact us directly at the address below.

Children's privacy

IGAnony is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
